The player progressively adds cookies to a jar by successfully solving math problems at each level. To advance, the player needs to correctly answer thirty math problems within a time limit of two and a half minutes. The program's difficulty increases gradually as the child completes each level. Smart Cookie Math offers two play modes: timed and practice mode.
